Default Some questions about the main forest rally maybe someone can answer.

i know when it is, i know where it is. i just dont know where exactly i can go to spectate. anyone know where i can get a map or a place where letters are used to spell out words to make up a paragraph or two about where to spectate?

and i look at the scedual, and all i see are the club rallies starting. i dont see anything about the prorally. is it at the same time? i would think this to be true.

ok, i hope someone can help.

CMC is sometimes connected with the happenings for this event, and often do TSD rallies in conjunction with the ProRally. I'll try to contact one of them.

It would be nice to find a pivot turn or 2 and a jump to hang around each day.

There are spectating shuttles that are provided by the paper companies(mead and seven islands). Others may know of other spots to spectate. You may want to go to specialstage.com and post the question there as that's where a lot of rallyists hang and post.

I can help you with spectating as I'll be driving! :-)

Cheers! John

If you wanna get up close & personal (but have to meet a schedule...), ya could always work the event.
The Maine Forest website has a link to sign up to work - workers often get stationed at places spectators cannot get to, & worker chiefs usually know the fast ways to get to other spectating spots.

Check: http://maineforestrally.com/index.html

If you get to Rumford first, they usually have a program that gives directions to the official spectator spots.
We have heard that the in-town final stage is likely to be replaced with a stage at some recreation area just outside of the town center.

Maybe someone has posted maps from previous years on the web somewhere......most of the course won't change.

andy

Matey,
the ProRally is referred to on the Maine Forest web site schedule as "Nat'l/ClubRally", running contiguous with clubrallies.....
