Read the FAQ in the Conversions forum. Do a search in here and you will find answers as well.

You need mounting brackets, calps, rotors...

Drunm to Disk is a bit different. I think you need a new hub.

On the rear drum to disk. I know you can do it. I'm doing this to my impreza. I'm just waiting for my parts to come in.
you will need
rotors
calipers
caliper brakets
brake lines
parking brake cables
rear wheel hubs
you may allso need rear cv joints

Its best to just buy the whole rear wheel hub and brake setup from a salvige yard.

You'll at least need 15" wheels too won't you?

Well I just got my 1999 2.5RS rear disk brake parts to convert my 1996 Impreza's rear drums to disks.
I test fit the one of the hubs with the rotor and caliper on it into one of my rims and they fit under my 14" rims.
I think the wrx mite have bigger rear brakes, but it looks like it you get GC8 2.5RS rear disks and they will fit.

first gen BF rears are the same as wrx's I believe. And they fit under a 14in. As for the front 2pot, you will need a 16in wheel.

You're correct....first gen BF rears have the same size piston and rotor as the wrx. The caliper design is slightly different, but for all purposes they provide the same braking.

SVX stuff won't swap over.....different bolt pattern. The SVX was quite the oddball in that not a lot of stuff was interchangable between other subarus
