Hoepfully this one will completely trash the RE92's so I can get some 225/50 712's!

I'm waiting too. Since no one will buy the RE's from me, I may as well trash them. These things are impossible to wear down. Believe me, I do my share daily to destroy the threads. There's still lots and lots of beef left.

I may just buy the tires I want and use the RE's for Auto-X only unto they die.

225's are you putting these on 50mm or 50+. I think they'll rub on 50's. If you know better than me, please tell me. Iwas going to use 215's, but I would rather have 225's.

225/50WR16 Kumho 712's will fit. The 215's don't have an OD close enough for me to go with them. Tire Rack Specs on the 205/55VR16 OEM RE92's have a Rev. per Mile of 830, the 712's are 829.
Brett is running the Kumho Victoracers in the same size & if I remember correctly, he doesn't seem to have any rubbing except for severely hard cornering.
I'd go for the Victoracers myself if I had an unlimited budget to get extra wheels, but I'm also working on the Z28 suspension & exhaust, plus it needs new tires too!

Im looking to go with 17 wheels. On stock 16s, I believe the 225s should fit without problems. I have 17 50mm rims. I want to use 225mm tires because the circumference matches the stock circumference better that the 215s. I also plan to lower the car. I think Ill have rubbing issues with the 225s.
