So, do you think it was all a complete accident, or did he try and be cool but ****ed up? Wait for poll.

Tool. Where's Panache's reply to Altiain? Panache hasn't been seen in-thread since to refute.
He's a tribute to the original DIAF. |

@ redline in 3rd in a residential zone before the throttle jamed?
I call BS. He shouldn't have been driving that fast in the first place! |

it wasnt the ghost of the porsche. it was the extra 200+ hp that badge added to his car that sent him thru the house.
anyhow, he mentioned that his friend saw what happened and ran over. dont know exactly what his friend was doin at the time, but im guessin he was also drivin....which leads me to say, they were driving together, which leads me to call shenanigans! I choose the "All of the above" option.
Guy was driving like an asshat... on a residential street no less... car got away from him, he had no clue what to do, panicked, and ended up in some dudes backyard. I love the acclerator sticking excuse... kind of like the Audi's with "unintended accleration", that turned out to be the drivers stepping on the throttle. This kid is so dumb he is anti-smart. |

redline in 3rd is a dead giveaway... I hope someone quotes him for the police report.
He was screwing around. Think about this: Even if the gas DID stick, he would have had to FLOOR IT to get to redline in third so quickly that he couldn't control it. If he hadn't floored it AND been over 3500 rpms, it wouldn't have gotten away from him. ANd the speed in third at 3500+ rpms is what, 45+ mph MINIMUM. Too damn fast for a neighborhood... and that's giving him benefit of the doubt. |

I kind of doubt he was going 80mph, though..
![]() Unless those wheels are made out of carbon fiber, I'd imagine that at 80mph into a curb, they'd be more broke than that. The passenger side wheel isn't even dented. |

Nice finds, intence .. Can't believe this guy is still on the road. Hopefully they do total his car and he ends up on a tricycle. Why am I not surprised to see that he's only 18?

![]() My only question is, why not clutch out and hit the brake? Okay the throttle cable "stuck", what about the clutch cable or the shifter assy. and going into neutral? - Janq |
