Default Subaru Incentives History

I plan to get my subie in December but the $1,250 cash back ends November 30th. However 3 days ago their website said it ended November 1. Does Subaru have a history of increasing or decreasing incentives as the end of the year comes? Typically a car company would increase incentives to meet year end quotas and get more people on the car lots during the cold weather. Since this is subaru and all the do is AWD these winter months might be there time to shine. Does anyone know what subaru has done over the past couple years?

I also am interested in knowing the history of their incentives.

In addition does the 1250 dealer cash apply to the STI as well? When I was looking back in Sept. they had special financing which excluded the STI but the special financing now includes the STI (unless I am mistaken). This would lead me to believe there may be the 1250 dealer cash on the STI as well.

As a general rule, manufacturers will renew their discounts for equal or greater amounts when they expire. The whole reason they place monthly ending dates on them is to promote a feeling of urgency to buy (for both the manufacturer's and dealers' monthly sales numbers).

If you click on "special offers" from the Subaru homepage it will open a window. In that window put in your zip code. Might only be certain regions but mine has it going through november 30th.

The 1250 is a DEALER incentive which is not advertised to the public. I found out about it because I tried to get a dealership to price match an online 05 WRX wagon. When I showed the salesman the price he told me that it included this 1250 dealer cash, which is basically money Subaru gives to the dealership for selling a WRX right now. The cool thing which I just realized yesterday is that this dealer cash can be combined with Subaru's special financing. The fine print on the financing states that financing cannot be combined with customer cash (it says nothing about dealer cash). When I talked to a dealership here in DE they told me that this was not true, but I have good reason to believe they were lying to me (since they lied about several other things). So in essence one should be able to pick up a 05 WRX for about 1500 under invoice and get 1.9% financing. I hope this is correct because I plan on doing it in the next week or so. If anyone knows for a fact that this is not true please correct me.
