Good thing I didn't pet the dogs the morning before I left.

Like every morning, the dogs are outside when I leave and I pet them for a few seconds before I leave. (Like any good dog owner does)

This morning, I didn't.

I get in the Baja and head out to work.

Take a left out of my street and head down the hill... then onto the incline over the 195 overpass. Sun blares in the rear view mirror so I go to adjust it... wait... I didn't just go through some fog.. it's clear... oh crap! Someone's car is upside down where I just was 10 seconds ago.

I pull over and do a u-turn and they say the guy got out of the car and he's all right.

Evidently he exited the highway too fast, struck the curb on exit, rolled and stopped across the other lane into mine. Since it happened when I was at the bottom of the hill... I didn't see it since my mirror put it just out of view on the hill.

Just weird having onlt been there 10 seconds previous.. if that. The worst part is.. I didn't even get to SEE it happen... which would been wikked hella cool!!!

Me being at the bottom of the hill, my rearview mirror was only seeing the road I just came from becuase of the hill.

10 seconds... I just didn't pet the dogs for 10 seconds... and it probably save my life.

I'm never pettng my dogs again!!!! (not)

he was definitely doing 25 mph in 3rd gear when his throttle stuck.

the roll still wasn't his fault, though. of course.
