Default 18x8 size rims. What size tires fit on this?

What's size tires should I use with 18x8 rims? I want wide, but I don't want rubbing issues on my wrx sedan. I would also like to keep the speedometer reading as accurate as possible.

I think you would be limited to 225 4018, 235 40 18, 235 35 18, 245 35 18.

It would be close to rubbing and depends on many factors, but you could get it to work.

offset of the wheels? but for 18 x8 i think 245-35 is a good tire size, its way wider, and keeps it close to stock diameter. and you have a sedan so you'll have less to worry about as far as rubbing goes, compared to us wagons.

But there are very few tire choices in 245 35 18 last time I checked.

Yeah, the price looks great for that tire. I know that in the size I'm looking at, I won't have as many choices. But i still want someone to come out and say that that size or a 235 40 18 worked fine on a wrx sedan. I don't want to find out the hard way that I get rubbing issues.

on a sedan with 18x8 best without no problems is 225/40/18 other than that you need to upgrade to coilovers and roll fenders depending on your offset

The offset would be +48 mm. I would rather get a set of 17x8 and get 235 40 17, if I would have to use 225's
