found one it is : VARIS Exhaust Heat Sheild - Carbon Fiber $105 anyone know of cheaper or if it would be easy to make ... is carbon fiber bendable or do you have to heat it up to bend it? |

I wonder if that's really rivited into the bumper of just 3m tape....105 bux is a lil expensive too, **** the subaru one is about the same price. Too bad these things aren't 50 bux shipped, they'd sell a ton.

You don't make carbon fiber pieces by just bending them. They're like fiber glass, only more fun.. *cough*. You lay sheets of them over a mold with some sort of glue.

in order to make carbon fiber parts you must first have a mold, then you lay up your carbon fiber sheets and resin, like fiberglass. it takes alot of practice in order to make good quality parts.
