anyone know of cheaper or if it would be easy to make ... is carbon fiber bendable or do you have to heat it up to bend it?

I wonder if that's really rivited into the bumper of just 3m tape....105 bux is a lil expensive too, **** the subaru one is about the same price. Too bad these things aren't 50 bux shipped, they'd sell a ton.

You don't make carbon fiber pieces by just bending them. They're like fiber glass, only more fun.. *cough*. You lay sheets of them over a mold with some sort of glue.

layers of the fiber, and epoxy resin

i use a lot of CF in my R/C projects, dont actually make the stuff but know a bit about it:

in order to make carbon fiber parts you must first have a mold, then you lay up your carbon fiber sheets and resin, like fiberglass. it takes alot of practice in order to make good quality parts.

And then back under pressure. Most good resins take about 200' and 100 psi.

good eye, only the differentials are originals.

#1 TXT-1 with Brushless motor/controller 12cells.
#2 Clod buster tube frame crawler (brazed stainless brakeline).
#3 Clod buster batman brushless motors/controllers 12cells.
#4 Taxxas Stampede brushless motor/controller.

I recognized the differential/motor packs in the second pic as I am currently building a ClodZilla Stage 4 with the inboard shocks/springs. I can set one tire on a pepsi-can and the other 3 will set on the table. I think that I have close to 8 inches of total articulation. Gotta love 2.5:1 motion ratios on the suspension arms.

Ya, Carbon Fibre is like Fibre Glass on steriods. It is made about the same, but you can't cheat with a chopper gun. You start out with a cloth rather than a mat.

bulletproof, they sell it for 95 bux, im planning on getting it later, except i think u have to wait till it gets imported from japan which takes a long time.
