which BOV was the one with the lazer shot sound?

Hey guys,

Done the search and all but cant find any posts, even though Ive read it before, that mention which BOV is the one that makes the Lazer sound.

Ive looked on a few BOV sound file sites and the closest one I can find to the sound Im looking for is the Greddy Type-S. Trouble is, they had two sound files....one on a supra which made the distinctive lazer sound and one on a MR2 which just made the normal "whoosh". Now im confused on if this is it or not.

BTW: I already run the TurboXS RFL, and CAI...I know..I know (so no flaming the bov question)

HKS makes a squeek sound. Dunno about the "laser" sound though.

I think the Supra's BOV sound is due to the V6 engine and bigass turbo(s).

its the greddy type-s.. the HKS is a chrip.. The type S has the distinct sharp sound to it at the end of a woosh..

I had it, and it sounds like that but not as extreme because we're not running as much boost. I was running 17.5psi.. and it sounded pretty crazy.

I have the HKS and it sounds like that at 20psi boost.

My WORX BOV definitly does not sound like that.. Anybody want to trade. But that Supra sounds crazy pissed, and I gotta get me a BOV like that.. So HKS>worx in terms of sound and ricerness?

My GReddy Type S BOV sounded like that before I took it off. It pissed me off... too loud and whistly.

yes get the greddy type s I had it on my SRT-4 & at 12 thru 20psi it sounded the same just louder at 20psi,lol

My SSQ does not sound like "a lazer shot" when I was running 25psi or even at 17psi.

definatly the Greddy Type-S that thing is loud got a nice "lazer" sound to it and sounds amazing... but to loud for me i took mine off and traded it for an HKS we will soon see which i like better.
