Default P0113 Intake Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Malfunction (High Input) CEL on my STI

I have a CEL and Im unsure what the cause might be. The code is P0113 Intake Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Malfunction (High Input). This is shortly after cleaning the maf (it was very dirty) and installing the Injen CAI, after switching from the Blitz SUS. Any ideas?

What did you use to clean the MAF? What was on it? Its possible you damaged it when you cleaned it.

I was wondering if it may have been that. I used water and a Q-tip and only touched it very lightly.

It was coated in dirt, the Blitz SUS doesnt seem to be very good.

I'd have it checked out or get a new one. As for the Blitz, i'd sell it and get a K&N Typhoon.

You could also completely remove the maf, put it in a plastic bag and spray in some non-clorinated brake cleaner. Shake until clean.

You probably ruined your MAF/IATS.
