Default What do I need to complete a shortblock?

If I had a EJ25 or EJ22 shortblock and I want to make it into a complete engine to swap with my EJ18, what do I need?

I figured so far that I will need:
oil pump,
water pump,
heads,
header,
pulley,
flywheel,
clutch,
fuel rail,
injectors,
ECU,
wiring harnesses,
intake,
intake manifold,
throttle body,
A/C,
alternator,
starter

can you think of anything else?

If you are buying a shortblock from a rebuilder, they typically have the oil pump already mounted.

Does the car have AC already? If not, you will need the compressor, heat exhanger (radiator looking thing) and all the hoses and control parts.

That should be about it.

I am considering a shortblock with 40k, I have my current engine with 140k with blown timing belt, tensioner, and idler pulley bearings. I should be able to cobble something together between the two correct?

Is any part of your motor damaged? Besides the timing belt/tensioner/pulleys.
