Question installing pulley

Do you need to get different belts for a Unorthodox pulley, or can you reuse the original belts?

Thank you,

Brian

I am pretty sure you have to have different belts. After all you ARE going to a different size. I am not positive, but I saw your thread sinking so I thought at the very least I could bump it for you untill someone with a valid opinion got on here.

Yea you will need smaller belts. And the belts differ from the MY99 and MY01 RS's, dont know why...

Some suppliers (like Cobb Tuning) include the correct belts along with the pully in your choice of colors.

You do need new belt sizes. I am at work right now but I have the sizes you need at home. I will post again tonight when I get home and tell you the correct sizes to get.

Have you put yours on yet? If so, how hard was it to get off???

If you haven't read it already, read my post please:

Arrow Power gains?

Has anyone noticed any real power from installing the aftermarket pulleys? Is it worth the $$? Also do you have to reset your Damn ECU when you change out those? Or do you just do that after every Performance Upgrade?

you do not need to reset the ECU after installing a pulley. It doesn't "give" you power, it basically reduces the amount stolen from the engine It allows the engine to run "better" and therefor increasing power...but it doesn't add power like an intake or exhaust, it frees it up.
