TS steelies for winter WRX wheels?

I'm trying to get a winter wheel and tire set up on budget. After market steelies dont fit b/c of my rotors and brakes (all stock). I've heard that I can get away with putting the stock 2.5 TS steelies (15"X6") onto my '02 WRX for winter. SOA cannot recommend putting parts from one model onto another. Can anyone confirm this interchange? Any advice would be appreciated!

why don't you try to get another set of used oem wheels from the fs forum?

That's what I did, $200 for a set of four...I'm not sure if the TS wheels will clear WRX brakes.
