hmmm, since it getting pretty cold up here in NE, do you think getting a tune now will affect the performance of the car later on, around spring/summer time? i just don't want to have to spend extra money later on getting another tune. i have a utec right now, but i may sell it and go with a ecutek reflash since its only 899 w/3 hours of tuning.

How many poeple are interested in a possible tuning day or two at F1Dyno?

-----------

Pricing for the reflashes can be found on our website.
http://www.i-speed.us/products/db_parts.cgi?Menu=1
With the purchase of a license you get free tuning of up to 3 hours.
The hourly rate for tuning is $125 per hour, and most all tunes are completed within 2-3 hours, unless you have some crazy setup on your car.

-----------

The RS-Reflash is nearly complete and we are hoping to have it done by the time I fly out to New England. Expected price will be around $400.

-----------

If Yarrowsport is willing to setup a dyno day I could shoot on down there also. All depends on where poeple are and what kind of tuning people want.

Does an '04 WRX fall under the $899 tune or the $749 tune?

I need to get my uppipe, header and turbo coated and installed. I think I can be ready for Dec., but I'll only be around on the 29th and 30th. I'm flexible with location, though.

Thanks!

Please be patient, and if you have any questions or comments please e-mail me and I will respond to them on Tuesday.

Try XX Tuning in Wethersfield, they are in CT and have hosted a couple of dyno days in the past.

IBTheonlystupidquestionisonenotasked

I would guess that they flash the firmware in the ECU, so "resetting the ECU" would go back to the RS reflash settings.

Hi Everyone,

Here is an update thus far. Retial pricing on the EcuTeK licenses are as follows.
1. All WRX's will be $750 (includes 2 hours of tuning)
2. All Drive By Wire will be $900 (includes 2 hours of tuning)

If you guys are interested in the group buy these are the two options.
1. For every 10 EcuTeK's you get 2 Free.
2. Every EcuTeK bought in a group buy you will recieve 10% off for 3 EcuTeK Licenses, 15% off for 5 EcuTeK Licenses, or 20% off for 10 EcuTeK Licenses.

(Both options come with 2 hours of free tuning for each EcuTeK License.)

Tuning for licensed ECU's is also available and will be priced the same. The more tunes the more of a discount. 3 Tunes (10% off), 5 Tunes (15% off), 10 Tunes (20% off). Tuning time is dependant on an hourly tuning rate and hourly dyno rate.

Also the options for Dyno's right now are
Yarrowsport (Dyno Dynamics,)
F1Dyno (Land and Sea)
KTR (not sure)
XX Tuning (not sure)

My preference right now is Yarrowsport as I would like to see the facility and what he has to offer. Though if there is enough of an uproar I can be swayed possibly to something more local to CT.

Cheers,
