Default Fuel issue I think need help please

I have a P0171 code

Which is a lean code

It feels like my car is starving for fuel

Around 3,000 rpm it starts to buck/Hesitate in a out then if I mash it, It starts to clear up a lil bit

Ive cleaned the MAF ive changed the Air filter and the gas cap so far.

This issue is no consistent some days bad some days not as much

At a stop if I rev the motor it doesn't seem to hesitate but it may be

If some one could point me in the right direction for this problem It would be a great help

Thank you

Fuel filter, plugged up injectors, dying pump, FPR, front O2 sensor.
Try finding someone that can log afr on your car to see whats actually going on. Get a bottle of injector cleaner and run it through the system. If you have a boost gauge it will usually bounce around at idle if you have a dirty injector.

My gauge doesn't bounce at idle so that's good.

Which sensor could be bad ?

Update: I changed the fuel filter and dropped fuel inj cleaner in the gas

Ran it 64 miles check eng light came back on and car is still Hesitating.

only under load it is tho not at idle ?

which seems weird to me

I guess my next option is to check that sensor but would that make it stop hesitating ?

Damn 200 bucks for a sensor is serious !

Should I try anything else before I drop 200 on a sensor ?

Do simple Checks first. Get some cans of brake cleaner. Spray it on vacuum lines and see if idle changes. Spray hose clamps on intake all the way to turbo, see if idle changes. Spray behind throttle body, intake manifold gaskets. Do all that first and rule out vacuum leaks.

OP just out of curious if you had any mods done to your car? I had a a dry rot hose on my stock turbo inlet that cause a bit more air after the maf, which triggered the p0171 for me. did a boost leak test, found the leak, replaced hose, and code gone.
