I got my '02 WRX like 2 months ago n they came with the 18x7.5 exel radius rims, they look good , when we got it they werent on the car, cause the 1 rim was cracked really bad cause the kid i got it off hit a pothole.. ( i hope thats all) and so like a month ago we get the broken rim demounted , we order a new rim and i told the lady 18x7.5 the offset is 45 n she says ok you should have it next week, so it arrives UPS drops it off, we go n get the tire mounted on, we get home i jack the car up and start putting the new rims+tires on the car. so i do so i got the drivers side on and the passenger side front, now im about to put the new rim on the back passengers side, the HUB looks bigger then the others , so im like somethings messed up? so i put it on and i go in the house n my dad comes in and goes why does that new rim stick out a 1/2 inch farther then the other? im like ooo no they musta sent us the wrong offset, so i look on the box n they did, i kept it on for a week or so to see how it was, and everytime i hit a bump or somethng, it would run the wheel well, and after a few times it started to shred the tire, so i said hell with this , i went to orlando last week for a paintball tournament , as soon as i got home i sent that wrong one back and she said it wuld be another month till they get the rim in i need, so im like darnit i got to wait, so they call me the other day n say we just got ur rim u sent us , i said ok and he asked if it was mounted i said yes n he goes no problem its in good condition. so he said i should have the new one by next week... err to much buuu$hit.. lol i just figured id tell youse my stressed out story

put the wrong offset wheel on the front, there is more room up there.

Or just send it back.

Well even +45 offset isn't really "right" for the WRX. In a 7.5 wide wheel it should be +48 or more. I'd just sell that whole set and get something new with the correct offset. Rota makes a lot of nice styles that are easy on the budget.

45 offset shouldn't be any problem on a sedan....but less may be.

I've seen some wheels in 42 that I'd LOVE to get....but.....
