Subaru Stars Kazera KZ-T's any good?

Kazera KZ-T 17"x7.5"

I have priced out these wheels on Tire Rack, and they are cost effective and look OK, but I wonder how other people like them if anyone has experience...

Each wheels weighs 19.4 lbs., and costs around $130.00. I am looking to put a set of Faken Azenis Sports (225/45 ZR 17's) on them to A-X with next year.

If you like the look - put the 17's on for street use and auto-X on the stockers with Falken Azenzis -- reason being that teh stockers weigh a lot less and are better made (stronger) than the Kazeras. If you wanna be a little different looking on auto-X days - paint the stockers white or bronze - for extra bling. My 0.02.

I'm not doing this for looks at all, but to get more rubber on the pavement.

This size wheels and tires are what come on the STi, so I figure that would be the way to go. I don't really think autocrossing with my stock 16" skinny wheels are going to get me as fast as this setup?!?!?!?

I've made AX runs twice so far in the car stock, and have posted decent times, but I think the STi tire measurements would help...

they are well built wheels manufactured by ASA .... but, remember that you will be putting your self into a different class by changing the wheels and tires

Subaru Stars Fatter wheels-

Thanks Luke,
Yeah, I know but there's only so far I can go in D-Stock. I plan on running much faster than I am now, because I am already exceeding the capabilities of these stock tires and not coming anywhere near where I'd like to be.
I didn't realize these Kazera's were from ASA. I was comparing the ASA KA3 and JH3 to these but they were heavier...

I'm listening...
So you think I could have similar performance with this 16" R style tire as if I were to get what I was talking about?
(Thanks-)
