Default Dyno! DYNO! DYNO! (she's baaaack)

Finally our dyno is back up, full tilt, rock and roll. Should be all updated for the Evo's and everything.

We've got lots of new toys too. The Ecutek In Dash Display is one of the coolest things I've ever seen (and I've got the laptop w/DeltaDash in the car most of the time):

http://www.ecutek.com/products/dashdisplay/

We've also got the CG-Locks in. If you ever play hard in the car, they are the greatest product you have ever seen:

http://www.cg-lock.com

Plus of course the normal slew of power, handling, braking and cosmetic stuff.

Give us a shout.

We should organize a Nasioc Dyno day sometime soon. We'll buy food, maybe pop for a band or something... Give us a shout if there is something you'd like to see here.

The CG-Locks are FANTASTIC. Likely the best $39.95 you'll ever spend. Almost the holding power of a harness, but no annoying strapping up and then not being able to reach the door, or the radio, or anything else (I drive in 5-pts most days, but I wish I had normal belts and these daily).

We're located off of Satellite Blvd. between Pleasant Hill and Boggs.

Come check us out or give us a call,

Crash, standard dyno is just $100. For you we could do $99

HTM, no you do not need ecutek to use the In-Dash Display. And it's got a clock

For those that don't know about these things, they are so sexy. You've got 7 pages of 4 values each. You can set any 4 values for each page. My normal Page 1 is Boost, AFR, Knock Correction and Time. For Page 2 you can do Boost, Wastegate duty cycle, Intake Air Temp and Ignition Timing, etc, etc.

There is also Peak Boost, Peak RPM, Peak Speed, Peak Coolant Temp, and it shows a bar graph of what your peak was and where you are.

PLUS, It will run a shift light, setable in any rpm.

PLUS you can set it up so that if any of 5 parameters reach there "alarm value" it will strobe the shift light.

* PLUS * (best for last) you can use it to do automatic WATER INJECTION. Or for most of us, automatic intercooler spray. Any Boost Pressure, in 0.1 psi increments it will automatically (once setup) spray the intercooler.

Boost??? The $99 is for AWD, we can do $79 for 2wd. I guess I won't have to hook up the datalog for the boost, so we can do $98 (just for y'all of course, don't tell anybody )

Crash = me, Crash477, If by your car wth mods from a few months ago you, that we have the same car, but I hve mods on mine, then yes. lol.

So a standard dyno is $100, or wait $98, is that 1 pull, or how many pulls? and since you were speaking of the pages stuff, do you have a set up for N/A cars? I have COBB stage 1.5. I/H/E + highflow cat.

3-6, basically until it stabilizes. Tuning is $120 per hour, but I don't believe that there is anything to tune on that car is there? The In-Dash Display will show everything that DeltaDash will, so if DD works on your car, the display will show the same.

Sure, come on in, I'll hook it up and you can see what it can do. Of course, I'll have to take it off before you leave Sorry, they generally don't let me loan that kind of stuff out. Actually I would be interested to see the timing sweeps. I'd be happy to throw it in, see what it does and do a few datalogged runs. There is a chance that DeltaDash (DD) won't work on your ECU's, if so, the In-Dash display won't work. But I'd love to try. Then again, I do work at a dealership, I could just try it out on some RS's in the lot....

You are welcome to come in for a dyno anytime it's not booked. If you'd like to make an appointment, give me a shout.

Count me in for a dyno tune. So dyno tuning wont take more than an hour right? My car already has maps for it, fo rmy setup, ive just added a few minor things, like Headers and uppipe. I just want you to go and modify the tune thats already on it. Hows that sound? think it'll take more than an hour? thanx!

The in-dash In-Dash Display (single DIN goes under radio) is on sale right now for $680. The Clock replacement dash top pod In-Dash Display is on sale for $749 right now (usually $799) and a steal compared with most $600+ 3 gauge clusters for up there.

Trizzy, It takes about 40 minutes to put a car on the dyno and 30 to get it off. Tuning is $120 per hour with a 2.5 hour minimum to cover setup and tear down (we don't charge additional for that) so it's $295 for up to 2.5 hours. What engine management are you running? Tweaking a map in a UTEC is pretty easy. If you are using Ecutek, even if it's already been tuned, there is no way to get a map OUT of the ECU so I'd be starting from scratch. Even still, if you are close to stock, or using a similar setup to what we normally do here the 2.5 hours would be enough.

whoa, if I was to bring my RS in to get it dyno'd only, not tuned. would it still cost me $295? I could do it for the $100, you mentioned earlier, but DEF. not 295.

DYNO ONLY (no tuning) - $98

TUNING - $120 per hour.

For Dyno Tuning there is a 2.5 hour minimum. For road tuning there is no minimum.

Sorry if I'm confusing.

Yeah im running the UTEC. All i want is to have it adjusted to fit an uppipe and headers. So what if i got you guys to road tune it, and then throw it on the dyno to see what it does? So that way: $120 for road tune, and then $100 for dyno. Would that work? thanks
