this a bolt on but would welding it in be a better and "safer" idea?

refering to the cages not the harness bar

thanks
Drew

yes, i guess you could say weld-in cages are a bit better for cars used in serious competition, but the kits are designed to be bolt in to make it easier on the end consumer for installation, and i would say the majority of the kits that are sold go to the general street car guy that doesn't demand a weld-in cage for door to door competition

weld-in kits are available for those interested please enquire at james@gscmotorsports.com

Are these legal for SCCA Solo 1?

How far are the bars from the driver's and passenger's (singular, I assume the you never put someone in the back seat of a car with a roll cage!)? Are they far enough from the head to be safe in a collision without a helmet? How well do they hold up in a collision, the front bars look like the bend quite a bit?

Do you have pics or can you take pics of the full cage installed with the windows down? Do you have these in stock? How much does the drift kit weigh?

yes MazWorx is located in orlando - if you are talking about Sergio's at Central Florida Turbo that is the first one produced so that is exactly what it will look like

will work on getting some more pictures for you - they are generally ready to ship in 2-3 business days from the date ordered - will also have the exact weight measured and information posted up.

Default Not trying to offend anybody but

Bolt in cages are stupid. Weld it in or dont bother.

If you are drag racing at an NHRA certified track then it has to be welded everywhere except the floor pan.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Matt

P.S. If I am wrong bring the tech, not just that my buddie said so nonsense.

The harness bar: In a 04/05, can you put the seat back all the way with the back straight up or one or 2 notches back? I'm 6'3 and seein if this'll work. Thanks,
Zack
