SWAY BARS FOR STI

Default Need Help Quick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2004 WHite STi, has BBS "RE" forged wheels now on it in silver.

Proposed wheel: GOLD SSR-GT2 18x8.5 ,..on a white STI,...or the same wheel in SILVER. 37year old married father of 1,.............I cant decide. I has the stock gold wheels and always wanted silver, now I have had the silver for 8 months and the other day saw a white EVO with GOLd wheels and it looked sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. I will choose the first average of the first 5 responses.

Greetings from a fellow Marylander:

I vote for silver but that's only b/c I really don't like gold wheels; too bling-bling for me. However, it all boils down to personal preference; I wouldn't let others decide for me.

P.S.

It's good to see another person over 35 who is Suby turbo-charged; although I have about 9 years on you. Our ranks will surely grow with the addition of the turbo Legacy.

P.S.S.

What are you planning on doing with your current BBS wheels?; I might be interested and I'm local.

Gold on white looks hot - no matter how many knuckleheads are afraid of the gold wheels , you KNOW the gold looks better.

Myles, what have you been *ingesting* lately? Your posts seem very, very, um, enthusiastic.

If I hadn't done black/gold, my next choice (and what was on the order sheet originally) was white/gold. Very nice look!

I am a church going good guy who reads Life magazine, watches Mr Rogers neighborhood, wears a green sweater and drives the speed limit with hands at 10-2, so I know nothing of these things you speak.......

I have always had enthisiastic post, when I am not talking about people who dont learn how to drive their cars............lol

Though I personally lack the chest hair for gold wheels, I think it would be a nice change of pace for your car. As you said, you've had silver for awhile, go for the gold!

It may be too late for my vote to count, but as another 35+year old STi owner, who just so happens also to own an Aspen White auto--GO FOR THE GOLD!

you have to realize subaru folks are the only people who appreciate gold wheels. everyone else thinks its utterly retarded. i dont. others do, only because people dont watch rally racing in the US. thats basically it.

but for a daily driven car, i like to be low-key and not draw a lot of attention, which is why i have silver on psm wagon.

if you want the attention and dont care what others think, get gold.

if you like being stealth and dont want people to look, get silver.

Well,..the silver vote jumped out the hole with a .5 60ft time , then the gold came back and sprayed te big 500 shot and just killed silver.

My neighbor says ....
"its like when you have a blond you want a brunette,..and vise versa....."

that sums it up perfectly.................Honey if you're listening,..I love ou no matter what........... ( had to clear that up)

GOLD wins,......for today..........LEts see how I feel in the morning......

THANKS GUYS...

Just in case you wake up and need more encouragement... I *almost* did CGM and gold, but in Aspen White, gold is the only way to go...

In the morning when you go back on your decision that "yeah i should just stick with silver" you will still have that nagging feeling in the back of your mind that is saying "but dammit I know the gold looks better, looks JDM, and sets me apart from the billions of white celica/rsx/etc that all have silver wheels." and even if you decide to buy the silvers, you'll always know that you ALMOST got the cool ones.

Myles......I HATE gold wheels, usually......but the white/gold CAN look good/great with the right wheels...

The GT-2's would look as good as could reasonably be expected to
