Default Kosei K1-TS Owner Questions

To those of you that own or have seen the Kosei K1-TS wheels in person, is the red lettering on the wheels painted on, or is it just decals?

I'm assuming that the valve stems (the red ones that come with the wheels) can be replaced with other valvestems (ie: they aren't some special type of valve stem you have to buy replacements of through Kosei). Can someone verify this?

Also, does anyone have pictures of these on their car? (preferably silver wrx's, but any pictures would be nice)

Thanks Luke, that's the lettering I was referring to.

Am I correct that the valvestems are just regular valvestems (ie: not some special valvestem that you have to buy through Kosei)?

Oh, and are these wheels hubcentric for the WRX, or do they use centering rings?

they use a ring and the valves are not "special" Kosei valves

It's a "racing thing" - Kosei does quite a bit of business in the racing world. It's for nitrogen-filling.

Yes Luke, whats the problem with these fitting on STi's? The 17x8 +45 looks like it would be a good choice; light, good looking, reasonably priced. From the way the spokes curve back it would appear they should clear the Brembo calipers.

Damn. My autocross tires are toast and I can't find anyone with a wheel/tire package I like at a reasonable price.

I like the new Dunlop R compounds (well - like the price), but tire rack doesn't have any STi compatable wheels at 8 or 8.5" widths that don't cost an arm & a leg. Damn SRR's just went up $40 per wheel. I think we need a 50% off sale on the SRR Competitions. Can you help me out with that Luke?

for the racing! you pump in nitrogen gas in one end and suck out air from the other thus assuring as litle moisture as possible in the tire

Bump for some pics of of these wheels on a car. I'm considering them too and the Tire Rack thingy just isn't doing it. No offense Luke.

Lots of comments about these wheels out there, just no pics.
