Default CEL and Brullen header/cat

So I got my first CEL after having installed some brullen headers and (new) high flow cat a month or so ago. I havn't pulled the CEL yet, but I'm sure it's a cat defficiency, or whatever usually pops up after putting in a high flow cat.

Question: has anyone tried a MIL eliminator (similar to what is sold at pony express) with a brullen setup, and has it worked? Please inform me.

thanks
jonathan

Sounds similar enough to my setup, but I wouldn't exactly say the eliminator worked if you got a CEL already, haha Let me know what the CEL turns out to be.

Did you have the eliminator wired into the rear 02 sensor?

Anyone else have luck killing a CEL with a brullen setup?

I also have the Complete Brullen header back with hi-flo cat. Had it for several years. Pretty much have had a CEL since the swap. It would intermittantly go on and off, but it's been pretty much solid for the last couple of months.

I've taken it into the shop several times, have replaced the O2 sensors several times, installed the CEL eliminator from Pony Express and in all cases, the CEL light eventually returns. I've been waiting for a solid fix for quite some time, but can't seem to find one.

All I've ever gotten from Brullen is the Pony Express option. I've got another year before I'm required to test the exhaust for my license plates. So I've resigned myself to hold out that long and see what my options are then.

Unfortunatelly Brullen will not be making the headers anymore. Actually I think they have already, so getting a fix from them would be pretty much impossible.

They only have 1 or 2 sets of the headers left.

I want to get a set of these, but I'm affraid because of the support issue.

Wow that sucks. So the mechanical and MIL eliminator fixes both are worthless? It's not like the CEL effects performance, but it's annoying and there's no way of knowing if there's something 'really' wrong with the car since the CEL is always on.
