Is that an A or B-class? Doesn't bother me as much as an Audi A2.

That's a B. I don't even know if they're released yet. I didn't think they were, but I saw it in real-life metal and paint.

The best part about the roads in Europe is that you can actually see down the road ahead you without 34,345,343,234 SUVs blocking your view.

True, but there are lots of 18 wheelers that get in the way.

I dont mind the SmartCars in England, I think they are pretty cool and get INSANE gas mileage. But SMART said that they wouldnt release it here, they are going to bring some type of SMART SUV. Booooo!!! Why did you taste vomit at the site of the Merc? It looks good to me.

I don't know man, just looks like a shrunken minivan.
Now if it performed unbelievably well or something, that would make up for it, but there are no real specs on the Merc website.

Local girl works for MB USA and had a Smart test car. You can literally put one hand on the headlights, and one hand on the tail lights. Cool little car, but I would hate to get into an accident with a big old Toyota Corolla in that thing.

Smart Cars, A-class M-B, and Hyundai ATOS are very popular here. With the gas costing 1Euro+/Litre I can see why. Any engine over 2L is huge around here.

They are also making a larger version, called the R class IIRC, which it looks great from the pics I've seen.

I believe that's Atoz, as in a-to-z. I've got that name burned in to my head from following one down a particularly narrow road near Limerick and wondering how on earth he felt safe going 75 (miles per hour, this is Ireland, mind you) in the thing. Of course it was a lot narrower than the Mondeo I had rented, but trucks over there usually take up more that half the road, particularly on curves.

I've seen a few Smarts around Chicago, too.
