There are a couple of members of the board that work for Flatirons. I personally liked Valley Nissan better and purchased my RS through them.

Jon Eric at Flatirons is awesome. I was treated extreamly well by him and other salespeople when I went to look for a WRX. Had I gone through with getting a WRX I would have gotten it from Flatirons.

I can't say enough good things about Flatirons and the way that they have treated me. I'll drop a few names:

Bret Carter- Senior Subaru Master Tech- I can't say enough about Bret and how he has treated me and my car. He knows Subaru's and Impreza's inside and out, and is even building a 500HP RS!! He can also get you guys alot of parts that you might want or need including pretty much anything at MRT. With the aussie dollar being so weak, he got me a good deal on some springs. He also has gotten WRX turbo-back exhausts, STi flywheels, dog-boxes, etc from them.

Jon Eric- Sales- This guy is extremely nice and knowledgeable, If I go looking for a new WRX or if they ever bring the STi, he will be the first one I will talk to.

Dustin, Lynel and the other Service advisors are great also.

Maybe if I keep advertising them, they will give me a good deal on my next Subaru.

Good Luck

JJ

I have heard really stunning reviews from everyone about these people. They are not afraid to talk performance with these cars, their prices seem to be the lowest around, and the service is outstanding. I have heard bad things about EVERY other Subaru dealership. I can tell you also that John Elway on Arapahoe Road is also a very good service department. I have 2 scoobs and they both have go fast goodies on them and John Elway has never once questioned warranty work or anything else.

My 2 cents

I've also had very good experiences with them. I bought my RS from Rip over there and he's been extremely helpful in answering my questions. The service people are also good and I can't say enough about the parts department. No matter what part I'm looking for they've tried their hardest to find it.

Thanks for the positive responses guys! At Flatirons we're trying very hard to please everyone- sometimes not an easy task, but we really enjoy meeting everyone and doing our best in all departments. If i can ever help any of you with any aspect of your vehicle, please call.

I agree with everyone on Jon Eric. I went and grilled him for a few hours on the WRX then took one for a test drive with him. In some twisties he was like, "Don't brake, just coast a bit and at the apex floor it!" I still slowed down a bit as a) I didn't want to wreck the guys car which I was totally unfamiliar with and b) I didn't have nearly as much confidence in the stock suspension and RE-92's as I do in my RS' setup. Anyways, Jon was really informative and I even learned some from the talk. Which totally surprised me. I thought it was going to be some salesguy saying something like, "We can get it in red, blue and yellow. And it's really fast! Now buy one!" Lol, anyways, I definitely recommend Flatirons.

I bought my WRX there and everyone there treated me very well. They even have a yellow WRX in the showroom with a few cool mods on it. I brought my car in for it's first oil change recently and the service dept seems to have it's act together. I would pay to get my car modified there if their prices on STI parts (the only thing they will modify with) weren't so astronomical!

I recently test drove a couple cars with my fiancÚ at Flat-Irons, but I bought my WRX from Burt. The guy I worked with at Flat-Irons was pretty cool. Not pushy at all. We would've bought from there, but she ended up getting a Toyota Rav4. Silly girl...

I have an appointment to get the oil changed and hopefully have a wicked rattle fixed next Monday at Flat-Irons. I'll let you know how it goes, but from what I've heard I expect good results. I decided to go to Flat-Irons versus Burt (where I have like six free oil change coupons) because, while getting my 1k oil change at Burt, I overheard one of the techs bragging about driving a customer's new WRX real hard. NOBODY is going to drive my WRX hard but me. I was floored he was even talking about it while I was around. Also, if you're interested, Burt stiffed me on my trade in and the management was rude and misleading or maybe even dishonest, depending on how you want to look at it. When I complained about my trade in, the GM sent me a nasty and poorly written email about how sites like Edmunds post incorrect information and why I'm a sucker-dumbass for believing it... So, I'll take my business -anywhere- but Burt.

I'm going shopping on Saturday and am now planning on heading up to flatitrons from Colo Spgs to shop for a new WRX. Anybody that bought one there... were you able to get under sticker on the car? I see alot of people in the national forums talking about $500 under sticker or $xx over invoice. Just curious if anybody had any luck getting a move on the price at Flatirons. Regardless, I'll probably buy one there but, I just wondered.

Thumbs up

I bought my WRX from Jon Eric....great guy, he put me under sticker in March! it was only a few hundo under but better than any other dealership I had called, he even gave me a JC Sports card and put a performance parts catalog in front of me while we waited for the car to be prepped....I definately would buy there again......best dealership experience I have ever had......
