Default Bridgestone Potenza G009?

Thinking to get a set of this for my Forester. It comes in 205/60/R16 and that's why I choose it over other tires (I want stock size). Base on the reviews it seems to have a good all-around performance and ok treadwear.

I was thinking to get Potenza re950 but it doesn't come in the size I want...I afraid it will look funny on those not so sporty wheels of my forester.

Any thought on these tires?
What other tire(s) would you suggest? Has to be in stock dimensions though...

Thanks ahead for any input!

Steven

i was also wondering, has anybody heard about these tires....i want to put them on before the winter hits over here....will the winter really beat them up? should i wait after the winter and put em on then, or before for better handeling during the snow?

I want to achieve a balance between treadwear and all around performance...does G009 do the job? I read it's quite good on the snow, and it's my bigger concern. I want my AWD vehicle to do well in the snow...

On tirerack.com it states that the G009 has 50,000k miles warranty. Should I expect this tire to achieve that kind of mileage?

they are pretty decent tires with good tread wear and when considering the size you need there really isn't a really GREAT option so, the G009 or the Avid H4S would be the 2 best choices ... the main difference being
Avid = ride quality
G009 = Performance

I have a set on our '03 forester........they are an excellent replacement option for the "Geolandar's"..............

So far: 5000 trouble free, quiet, compliant, decent grip miles...........they are what they are and do what they say, nothing more,nothing less........
