Default What rims for X-mas?!?!

I'm getting new rims for X-mas b/c i've been a good boy

And i have do have a price limit but i wasn't told what it is, just that it's pretty high so i'm thinking like volk or BBS or SSR or something...So my question is, what rims should i get? I would like a list from you guys of what you think i should ask for first, then another as a back-up, then another as a back-up

So im trying to say that the first choice would be most expensive and the next is less and then next is less...

let me know and throw in any ideas!

I'm looking for looks and performance (lightweight, but i'll sacrifice some weight for good looks)

Thanks

I really like the black Professors with a polished lip. Prodrive GC-07's would be nice, as would black Axis Reverb's. IMHO.

Get some '04 STi USDM stockers in gold. (Red/Gold = very nice). You can usually get lightly used ones in mint condition and save lots of $$$ -- plus they are excellent wheels.

(A lot of STi owners sell them off and get lesser rims just to have a different look - which I can't understand - unless you're getting a snow/winter set).

Use the rest of the budget on other performance upgrades!

an excellent suggestion. Save lots 'o money, and get great wheels too.

Otherwise, I'm partial to SSR Comps. Good price, forged, light, stylish.

Without a price limit, I would probably go for the Prodrive GC-06 or Volk TE-37. The 6 wide spokes are my favorite wheel design. Or maybe some Racing Hart CP035.

Would the SP1 professors fit an 05' STI? I know that the bolt pattern is different for 04' STI.

Not as of yet. Bolt pattern is not available, but the thread starter has a wrx.

How about the Prodrive GC010's? Those are badass rims.

You want 5x100 for the bolt pattern and some where in the 48-53 range for offset.

Anything between 7-8" wide should work well. The GC-06's do come in 17, but you know you want the 18's for less than the 17's would cost!

Since you don't know the price limit, try to get some Prodrive GC-05Fs custom painted in the Rays/Volk Metal Bronze color. That would look great on san remo red.
