Who makes a standard five-star rim that will fit the WRX ?
Preferably something with a +48 offset (like the Rotas)
and in silver. I have searched and searched, and can't find just a standard
five-star rim for my car with a descent offset.

Thanks for any info and/or links.

They have them in 17x8 48mm offset. Pretty light wheels too. Check out www.5zigenusa.com for specs and more sizes.

Actually, I like the SDRs the best. I will more than likely end up getting those because they look great, great price and a good offset.

Speaking of offset, I must be a moron because it confuses the hell outta me.
I know I need to stay within the 48-55mm range, but unsure of what exact offset to get with a 17x7.5" wheel.

To bad Rota doesn't make just a standard 5-star rim !!

I'd say the Slipstreams are about as standard a 5-star rim as you can get!
A 17x7.5 with a +48mm offset will work great.

Yeh, the more I look at those, the more I like them.

Seems like they only come in 17"x8", so would the +48 offset still be the
way to go ? And wrap them in what, maybe a 225/45-17 tire ?

Yes, the 17x8, +48 with 225/45-17 tires would be just about perfect.

Well, after looking at tons of pictures last night, I think I'm gonna end up either getting the Subzero's or the Torque's, in a 17", although, I really don't see much difference in the two rims. They come in 17x7.5, so I could wrap those in 215/45's instead of going to a 225/45 on a 8" rim.

What the hell is the difference between the torque and the Subzero

Get 225/45-17.

Look closer, there's a pretty big difference.
