Default Bleeding/Replacing Clutch Fluid

Way back in the dim ages, when the frogs ruled the Earth, someone from the NESIC region popped into a thread on bleeding the clutch line (I *think* it was Wayne, and I can't find it in the archives) and said that you should not pump the clutch when you bleed it but push, hold, close, release, open, push, hold... I've had this braided stainless clutch cable I got back with the stainless steel lines that went in back in February (yeah, call me lazy) which I figured I might as well do. Can anyone confirm/deny this proceedure for bleeding the clutch line?

Not sure if I was the guilty party...

But it's really no different than bleeding brakes. Fill reservoir, pump, repeat.

I can confirm your procedure is correct. This is how I also do it on brakes too. If you "pump", then any air quickly gets broken into a million bubbles and just takes longer to bleed.
During your line change, have your helper hold his or her finger over the (slave) cylinder hole so it doesn't go dry on you. Good luck
