Default 17 or 18 inches?

Im either going to get VOLK CE28 or SSR Comps or BBS LMs (still don't know...i'm dying here, if you wanna say which one i should get PLEASE chime in)

So now to the question, do you guys think that i should get 17s or 18s? I think the 18s look better but do you sacrifice much performance by going 18 instead of 17?

Thanks

18's will give you a harder ride. If your area has really bad roads you should consider going with 17's to give you a softer ride.

You're spending major $$$ on forged wheels. Are you doing it for appearance, and to make a fashion statement, or are you doing it to have strong, light wheels? If its the latter, get 17's, or even 16's. If you just want the bling, get whatever looks good to you, or your SO, or do a poll in your regional chapter forum.
