Actually...this might work very well. Everyone is putting those pink ribbons on their car (and the band on their wrist) this year. . . and you know how much Subie owners love cherry blossum red...errr...I mean pink!!

i have STI pink strut braces..but i painted the ends so there was no pink showing..

also..i lost an Aunt to Breast cancer, another reason for my submission.

Thumbs up

"Scoobies for Boobies" sounds good to me as well, especially since it hit home on a personal note this year. We might actually get some good press if we do it for them.

Although, if we want to get sponsors, we may have to change the phrase .

Actually, that's a phrase the sponsors (and media) would like. It catches peoples attention, etc.

Yeah, but would it sound like we were serious, or like some immature car group?

Jeff-

If you're willing to ride in something a little slower than what you are used to, I ususally have an extra seat.

I know last year about 1/2 of the cars, maybe little more, was just the driver so there should be plunty of room for the 3-4 co-pilot people this year.

Ya so, speaking of the finished plans, is there any info as to where we are going when? I have a friend in NY that would be interested in cruising along with us for a day, at least meeting up for lunch/dinner.......as long as you guys don't mind another nutty saab owner .

Include a place where Delorne route files can be downloaded for those of us on board with the GPS.

Hey I just got a used CB radio and its giving me some problems. The volume control and squelch do not work properly. It gets real loud then real quiet then real loud.... I dont know what the problem is. Could it be a bad ground? Its just a two wire setup + & - I have it grounded to a passenger seat frame rail bolt, the one that goes into the floor. Can anyone suggest a place to go where they can diagnose the problem or can anyone here help me with this?

THANKS

There is a nice point under the center console right under the hand brake. It's a gold colored bolt that can be removed with a 12mm wrench, this bolt goes straight into bare metal so you should get a nice solid ground. You can also pick up power from underneath there as well, keyed power at that. On the plug that goes into the mirror control switch there is a yellow wire with a red trace that works great for powering a CB or a hardwired radar detector.

A CB can never be too well grounded. Besides making sure you have a really good existing ground - add a ground to the antenna plug.
