Default How many miles did you get on your RE070s?

Just curious, an old thread had some big variances on the opinions of expected tread life.... I had about 19,500 on mine when I swapped the winter set-up on Friday. I haven't measured the tread depth but it looks like it's getting close to the wear bars, if I get a chance I'll do it and post up. Probably not worth putting back on, just start fresh in the Spring...

Of course it varies by driving style, etc., so feel free to comment on that to make this a little more useful (not meant to be a scientific survey, obviously). I'd call mine aggressive but not drag racing or auto-x'ng on them.

How 'bout you?

I'm at about 16,000 and I think I've got about 5/32" left. I will likely change them when they get to 3/32". It's a damn good tire that grips and handles like these but last as long as they have.

13k, about half gone. I'll be replacing them with the same because the cost/benefit ratio is quite good, IMO.

About 8500 miles on them. 1.5 track days and I purposely seek out windy roads. I'm thinking I'll get 12k out of them.

I bought mine used w/ about 6,000 miles on them. I've since put about 10,000 more and have about 4/32" remaining. Aggressive driving, but no auto-x.

Just passed the 15,000 mile marker and I need to find replacements in the next 30-45 days. Oh, and I've participated in about 8 or 9 auto-x's this year, several long distance highway driving trips (300 + miles one way), mostly back roads on the day to day, and I seek out twisties every chance i get.

Peace

Jason

I love my STi

I think I got about 11,000 miles out of mine. This includes a season of Auto-X (about 10 events) and some fairly aggressive driving.

I will probably be getting them again. I have a set of Michelin PS2's on my other car and they feel like the sidewalls are made of spong compaired to the RE070's.
