Drill a hole. It would be easier if you had a wagon.

How many wires are you running? And are they in tubing? Also how did you get them between there?

I had a 4 wire trailer harness running to the lights. They were in wire loom until they reached the window trim, then I just tucked the wire under the molding.

I just lifted up the edge of the trim and slid the the wire in as I moved down the molding.

here's my set-up.

Rally innovation light bar with Hella 500 driving lights and 500ff fog lights. fogs are controlled by a switch and can be turned on or off anytime. The driving lights are wired into the high beam circuit and only come on when the high beams are on. I had to make a brace for the top of the bar to keep it from shaking, but other than that its been a good light set-up. Here's a picture of the whole car. Nothing fancy, just a 2.5i with RA mudflaps and bunch of lights on the front of it!

you are in luck! I just did a write up at Dirtyimpreza.com about how I made my brace. being you have an 08, You will have to check the bottom of your bumper beam to see it it has the two holes that I mention in my write up.

Did you drill the holes in the light bar because mine doesn't have those holes. Maybe I'll use the bump stops and use aluminum to hold them to where the front plate holes are.

Yes, I drilled the holes into the top of my bar. Being that the bottom two riv-nuts came loose within 3 months of owning the bar, I wasn't going to trust them when it came time to mount my top driving lights. (notice how my bottom fog lights are also through bolted). Your Idea may work also, but I'm not sure mounting the braces to the bumper cover only would do much in stiffing up the bar to the point were it eliminates the shake. thought, I could be wrong.

RoxyTheImpreza,

Here are the couple pictures that I could find as to how I ran the wires on my wagon when they were on the roof. The wires weren't actually tucked under the trim in these, but you can get the idea of where they were going.

Sweet setups guys!
Here's my setup.

and here's how i did the switch
(second fog switch, not the rocket launcher switch)

Light bar, as far as i can tell is completely custom, lights are the $10.00 harbor freight aux lights. rubber coated, they don't quite cut it but they're better than nothing

Just looking for quick confirmation... Does the RI light bar work on non-sti 2008+ models? On their site, they only list 2008+ STi models, but they also list 2008+ Outback Sport.

Thoughts?
