Question Fitment of Magnaflow muffler? URGENT!

I'm looking at a version similar to the Apexi N1. It measures 14"long, 6" round, 4" diam. tip, and 4" tip length. They also offer a version with a 7" tip (length). Which will fit the best, if any?

Thanks for any help-

Robmat

Depends on what your after Rob,

If you want the "dragger" style muffler....cool.

I personaly went for DTM style tips and an oval case to maximize clearence. Around here with the frost heaves and all sorts of different types of bumps and dips, i'm not taking any chances.

My case length is 14" and the tips are 7-8" long, The muff fits perfect and the tips exit flush with the bumper. (No more half moon burns on my shins while loading things into the trunk!!!)

I looked at the Magna flows and they should fit as long as you don't go much longer than 16-18" in case length.

Hope this helped,

Peas,
AaRoN

Do you happen to have a part # for the turbo xl? I'm currently looking at the catalog now. I'd like to go with a straight through double tip version, but don't see any that are made. Otherwise I will go with the N1 look alike.

Default 27" long!

I had a Bolra XR1 muffler with a Borla Dual angle cut intercooler tips put on my Impreza a while back (sold it to someone else within 1 week because of the extreme volume) but it fit fine... I even had 2.5" piping on it so it took a little more space than normal... the tip stuck out so it was even with the bumper (the part that sticks the furthest out) but it looked awesome.... I would have some pics, BUT I don't have a scanner...

Default Decision

Well, I ended up getting a dual tip (angle cut) muffler. The muffler guy told me he could position it however I like. If things don't work out the way I like; it wasn't that great of an expense, so I could sell it through the club and get the N1 style

Thanks for all of the info guys! It goes on at 8AM tomorrow, I'll let you know what I think!
