Default what is your favorite part of your daily drive?

Mine is getting on to 83 from podonia road in Maryland. It has construction and it goes from 3 lanes to one lane twice right after stop lights. since it in construction its always wet and muddy. Nothing has a chance next to a 300hp AWD STI! most times i just sit back and watch the rat race. I would say that 3 out of 4 cars spin trying to get in front of each other on a wet day. There is a much better view from behind the action and i know that none of them could hang with me any ways. But every once and a while ill get on it threw first just to get in front.

My commute consists of ~3 miles and 8 traffic lights. I'd say that the first mile is the best because it only contains about 1 of the 8 lights and has the least traffic.

9 mile, 45 min commute each way... so basically, my favorite part of the commute is when it's f'ing over.

I hate Los Angeles.

I like it when my car gets warmed up. That is about the time I pull into work.

Ahhh, the beauty of the STi's tranny and oil heaters. My car is heated by the time I pull out of the driveway (after about running it for a minute.)

The last part of the highway. It turns into 1 lane, and then a long right hand turn down a hill. Then it becomes two lanes (the one on the right being an exit). I take the exit, which you 'should' take at 20km/h, since its a 270 degree turn that merges into another road via a yield sign.

i have 16 mile commute. 11 are on backroads. when i say "backroads" i mean winding, up and downhills, and only 2 places for cops to hide. the commute is nothing short of glorious.

Nothing's good since I live on one side of a lake and have to take bridges to get to another for work.

I cant justify living over in the suburbs near work, though. I'm 24 and dont need to be old and live where there are no bars and places close at 6PM because the bluehairs are afraid of the dark.

There's a nice sweeping S turn in the last 15 minutes of my drive. Most cars enter the turn doing 60 and come out doing 45. I never let off the throttle the entire way. It's not much but it's the only slightly interesting terrain in my 20 mile commute. Florida isn't known for having fun roads.

I had about a 30 minute commute over the summer, about half of which where on totally back roads. Needless to say, that was my favorite part. Unfortunatly I'd always get stuck behind people who actually drove the speedlimit
