Default MY98 2.5RS perf

Can anyone point me to a site to find 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for MY98 2.5RS(bone stock). I really want to buy one soon.(even though my friends think im a dork for wanting one and not a GSX) They're heavy into the import seen. Started there own club with only 4 members(99 eclipse gs, 99 civic si, 89 rex si, and 95 integra). We went to Syracuse,NY (about an hour from where we live) to check out street races on Erie blvd last night. The police let the races go on till about 12pm or so. Saw a blue impreza rs and a silver rs line up with a taurus SHO(early 90's one) in the middle. They beat the crap out of it, it was pretty funny. They looked fast as heck of the line soi was wondering what stock times were. I'm also thinking about 60 shot nos, which I've been thinking about before F&F nosmainia ( I still haven't seen the movie anyway). I read the nos post and feel its safe with the proper equip. About how much time will a 60 shot knock off the 1/4mile(not engaged until 2nd). Thanks for the help

Thumbs down

Dude if you want a car that goes fast in a straight line, the RS is not your car. AWD doesn't like the abuse of launching unless you got money to piss away at new transmissions. How about SRT-4? They smoke stock Rexes off the bat. Or buy some domestic POS and build a monster out of it.

yeah even though its fun to beat all the hondas off the line with the launch an RS gets, your right, not fun in replacing trannys. stick to autocross and taking on/off ramps at twice the suggested speed cus these cars can handle that. i have an on ramp near me thats a complete u-turn and says to take it at 35, i take it at about 65-70 whens its dry out. when its raining its fun to to tap the brake a bit to upset the rear end and drift alittle, but need a stiffer rear sway bar to get it out on dry pavement cus the stock bar is crap, i can bend it with one hand, probably.

and of course, as with every RS, we want to put that intercooler scoop to use and add an aftermarket turbo kit right?? ive heard of using head gaskets from a 98 legacy is good for lowering the compression if you're not replacing internals. cus i guess with a stock crankshaft, rods, pistons and the whole 9 yards you can only go up to about 6 psi of boost before she blows. anyone ever hear of this head gaskets switch and know how far you can crank up the boost before you head into forged land?
