Mugen used to be Honda's factory tuner, like STI is for Subaru, but not any more. The Mugen organization was sold from Honda to an independant owner. It is possible that they could build subaru parts, but I would seriously doubt they would make one for a USDM only 2.5RS.

I don't even see how the one pictured would fit an RS.

I think it looks just as good as the aem one I have. The breather bungs are all there, the piping is flanged so the hoses don't come off, nice looking paint job. Who gives a rats bottom who made it, 60$ looks like a decent deal.

If that's what you want then get it. Why are you asking what we think anyway?

I don't want to be mean, but someone has to. If you buy that intake, you're a moron. That intake was not in any way designed for a subaru. It will not fit on your car. If you've seen any kind of intake on a subaru you will see right away that it will not fit.

So. Please don't be a moron and buy that intake thinking it's a good deal because it's not.

If you want a good, inexpensive intake:

www.pdm-racing.com

It's an identical design to the first-generation GanzFlow. I have one. They're $50 USD.
Not as effective as Cobb/PRM intake to be sure, but they do retain the OE airbox, which is something the "safe" side of me appreciates.

Mugen got sold?? Yikes.... that sucks. Mugen and Comptech are two of the best things going, for Honda.

I'm with you Tim. It looks like it would fit a MAP RS.

Next time you should check the company website before posting something like this. If you see something that looks questionable, you should check with the manufacturers website as a default action. If they don't have it, and you're still interested in the product, then try calling.

This is most likely not a genuine Mugen product. To me, it looks more like bait for ricers.

amen. common sense is no longer "common". i believe it is an option item at the time of purchase, bundled in a package containing accountability, honesty and intergity.lol...

Not necessarily true. Like I said, there's the PDM. GanzFlow's only about $100, give or take.
