It'll be tough to get the "angry bee in a coffee can" sound with a boxer engine. I've heard that equal length headers will make the tone somewhat higher, but I don't have any first hand experience with it.

Maybe you should try an intake? Mine is kind of high-pitched at upper RPMs, but still nothing like a Honda. You can try removing the stock silencer to get an idea what the intake will sound like.

Exhaust? weld a coffee can to a tinfoil roll, and fill your intake pipe with marbles. Then you can sound REAl cool. mwah ha ha ha

I'd just throw some soda cans on in there too. Then you'll really have people turning heads...wondering what the hell you did that to such a nice car for. While you're at it you may as well join those guys crowd and throw a Type-R sticker on the car or any other of a million decals of parts not actually in your car.

i don't believe you can get that whiney noise unless you get a silencer on a big N1 exhaust and then puncture the exhaust w/a VERY SMALL hole

just make a tape of a honda reving its engine, roll down your windows, and play the tape on your car's stereo really loud. this way you get the same noise as a honda. oh yea. might want to record some sounds of BOV's so it sounds like your car has a turbo.

Awesome idea, BOV on the cd player.

I'm going to start putting BOV clips in between my songs on MP3 cds.
