Default Is that a WRX?

So I'm refilliing the Subie at a Mercer Isl.,WA Chevron on a sunny Sunday evening. The silver Carrera 4 Coupe I pulled by on the Hwy a few minutes earlier rolls up for some fuel as well. We're both obviously out for a liesurely sunset cruise. He catch's me and asks, "is that a WRX?".

I'm smilingly reply, "naugh, it' a Legacy GT, the WRX has a bit of a different bodystyle and is a turbo", etc.

Porsche guy: "oh, I thought it was a Subaru, kinda looks like one"

I proceded to explain that is indeed a Subaru, and am sure to answer kindly when he asks if it's AWD. Told him it's a fun car to drive, and is a blast especially during my Winter travels, and is only lacking a little bit of boost.

I returned the complemts on his fine ride, and that his must be a load of fun as well. He replied that it was, but he that was afraid to drive it in the snow.

He chirped out after exchanging a "take it easy".

Kind of interesting how much the WRX (and it's advertising) is bringing the rest of the Subaru's out into view.

Hopefully it'll lead to more power available in my next Legacy.
