Default need help on choosing....

right now my 03 wrx has stock suspension. im planing to get tein coilovers so i can lose the fender gap. im heading towards CCW 17x8.5 or 17x9 size wheels with either +48 or +50 all around. im not sure if the falken azenis come in 255/40 rubber. im thinking that 17x8.5 +48 and 255/40 rubber will go together nicely but im not quite sure. does anyone have this set up on their 03 or 02? ive searched but only found applications for 2004 up. please leave feedback(including problems, rolling fenders, etc.)

thanks.

To run that size tire, you will have the roll the fenders. At least in the rear.

I just found out that the azenis don't come in 255. They come in 245. Since the width of the tire is reduced by ten, will I stil have to roll fenders? Anyone with the same set up?

One more question... Are the wheel applications on an sti the same as a 03 or 02? What I mean is that whatever the sti 04+ can take up under those fenders is can also be used on an 03 or 02 wrx?

for 245s you will likely have to roll the fenders unless you have a stiff set of coilovers is what ive read in several other threads.

not only that, but read what people who own stiff coilovers think of them....not a ton of praise. definitely track biased.
