Default 2.5L headers on 2.2L?

This is probably a stupid question, but can i fit the 2.5L headers onto a 2.2L?

i just bought a 95 'L' to start as a project car. i'm doing the swap in may, and just need to get through winter. unfortunately, the exhaust is leaking, and it's coming into the cockpit. the leak is in the headers, and i have access to stock 2.5RS headers.

Will these suckers fit? Excuse my ignorance! I searched and couldn't find anything relevant

I don't know if the 95 2.2 is dual exhaust port or not. If it is, then yes the 2.5 headers will work. If it's single exhaust port, the 2.5 headers will NOT work. However borla does make a specific header for the 2.2 single exhaust port motor.

i just wanted to repair it for the winter.

come may, i'm swapping to a wrx engine/tranny. not worth dumping any money into at this point.

i guess i'll just wrap it with exhaust leak fix stuff, and spray the crap out of it with that exhaust glue stuff.

hopefully that'll do the trick.
