Default Toll Question: SunPass - E-Pass

Does the SunPass work in Orlando's E-Pass System? Neither of their sites are too clear on it.

SunPass, E-Pass, and O-Pass all work together.

sunpass works with all of them. I use it all the time. Oh yeah O-town is the toll plaza capital of the world.

I lived there for 4 years. It bothered me at first then I just got used to them.

But I was just in Chicago last week and drove to Iowa. We drove 2/3 the way across Illinois on toll roads (110 miles) and only paid ($2.30) 4 toll stops. Florida tolls are too high and too condensed!

Thanks for answering my question.

I used to get a toll ticket when I would get on the turnipike down in Lauderdale and then use my SunPass when I got to Orlando. It would take a dollar or so off versus the 11.00 it would cost if I used the SunPass at both ends.

In Atlanta you can run through the pass lane at 70+ . Try that with a SunPass.

In Colorado, east of Denver the toll plazas are on the side of the road and you have to pull off if you don't have the transponder. If you have it then you just keep going straight (Speed Limit is 75mph too). No slow downs or anything.

I think the 408 is building something similar.

It's been a while since I have been there, but I remember some of the Sunpass lanes were just as narrow as the regular tollboth lanes. Hitting those at 70+ would be a little sketchy.

Perhaps Opie meant that he drives through Atlanta's pass lanes with his Sunpass.

And if not... shame on you Opie.

Orlando doesn't compare to the Tri-state. hehehe Coming from New Jersey made it easier to adjust to Orlando's Toll System.

See? Our e-pass thingie sucks!

We can only go 25mph (tho I have tried it to like 35)

Wish they had put that system here instead of the cheapo we got!

Good news for the 408 (E-W Expwy) Users:

Movie: http://www.expresswayauthority.com/a...l%20Plaza.html
408 Construction Page Link: http://www.expresswayauthority.com/f...teroad408.html

Bad News for the 408 (E-W Expwy) Users: You have to wait thru 7 years of construction.
