Exclamation Using GPS to Fine Speeders

Not sure if anyone has seen this. but its a very interesting article..

If was found to be illegal, only because they did not word it in their contract. But it seems like its going to open the door to a lot of nasty stuff..

Here is the article..

I just saw this too this morning.. The Consumer Affairs people found it to be illegal and not the Police/Attorney General.

I have a feeling they will word it into their contract and then fine people and will again find themselves in court. Except this time, it will be the Attorney General or something saying that they are trying to enforce the laws that the Police enforce and it should get messy. Either way, what happens when the car gets stolen and some dude drives at 200mph, etc. Acme fines the person who rents the car for the excessive speed?
