Anyone tested a Bosal twin tip mated to all TXS piping, from UP to axleback? 4" DP and 3" the rest of the way.

Everything sounds very loud on my wagon due to cabin design, but I didn't know if it was loud outside the car.

I would like to see some WV info and vibrant exhausts put on the list. I have a Vibrant Street Power exhaust that you can test.

My set up.

Borla Rep headers (to be wrapped)

Vibrant hi flo metal core racing cat

12in Vibrant Resonator

Vibrant Street power Exhaust (flat black)

^^ I have a 3" Vibrant Streetpower with resonator as well, and the thing drones on the highway in my wagon. It sounds pretty similar to my Bosal twin tip full 3".

I'm beginning to think it's near-impossible to find an exhaust in 3" flavor that doesn't drone. Quiet sure...but I think drone is always going to be a factor. If it's gonna drone it might as well be loud!

I would say consider the Maddad Whisper CBE. No drone whatsoever, check out the review thread as well. It is pricey though.

I PM'd the Maddad guy and he never responded, and it's been several months now.

I'm going to guess no one on here has the British Afterburner Vortex or the Scoobysport N1 style exhaust?

Too bad Vibrant doesn't build a system for the 08-10 WRX/sti. I loved my vibrant street power I had on my 06 WRX---very meaty sounding.

I feel like my Apexi GT spec is insanely loud, Its nice to look at these to compare it to others, but at the same time it's hard to put numbers to the actual sound

I was hoping to see the db levels of the setup I have. I just installed a Cobb catted dp mated to a Prodrive axleback and stock midpipe and I have to say, it's a bit louder than I thought it would be. For some reason, I sat in another car with the same setup and it didn't seem near as loud. It sounds fantastic but it's a little annoying on long drives. Granted, it's a wagon so that only makes it worse. I am not sure if anything can be done but if not, I may consider going to an STI catback. I have a VF34 with supporting mods and realize I will lose a bit of power but that may be the tradeoff.

Got a catless invidia DP and invidia n1 race exhaust. It was so loud. Bought the resonated midpipe. Still loud but better than before. How can I make it quieter without changing to catted DP? Silencer works fine? Is it possible to install a cat on my DP? Where from I can get it?

Get a different muffler. No other way. You should have known thr n1 is loud.
