Default anybody have an old laptop?

I'm buying a TEC-II and now I'm looking for a laptop to tune with. Does anyone here have an old one just sitting around that I could borrow/buy?

I'm trying to get info on what the requirements are for the TEC software, and so far it seems anything that can run windows95 or newer would work fine.

Thanks!

p.s. If anyone lets me borrow one, I'll take you for a ride once it's been tuned...

I've been bothering a buddy of mine for one of his old ones...I'm wanting to get the scanning software for the stock ECU.

I'll definitely let you know if I get my hands on it but don't let me slow down your search...

Strepto - your ride might not be spectacular but let me assure you, DaveK's IS.

I think I found one on ebay...now I've got to keep my fingers crossed that it actually works.

DaveK,
I have a crappy work laptop that you can borrow if your ebay gamble fails. Let me know.

I have a friend in Canada with a P75 one that will surely run 95.

I'll ask him for some more details and a price, with specs of course.

Thanks guys-I'll keep those options in mind if the ebay thing falls thru.
I think I really only need a laptop during the tuning stages. I'm hoping to setup 2 maps, one for daily driving at 5 or 6 psi, and one for racing at maybe 8-10 psi. Once those are setup (no small task from my understanding) I can use my old home computer to switch between the two setups.
mmm...more boost, I can't wait. Anybody want to donate to the "Dave needs a new tranny fund?"
