need help with hid

Hi I got an 04 wrx. i ran into a deer and got my head lights broken. I need replacement. i was looking into usdm sti hid and jdm hid. also hid kits. is there any diffence between usdm and jdm hids? beam color or pattern differences? will the jdm hid work fine in a us 04 wrx? are both hids the same and just the chrome or black reflector difference? what would you guys recommend?

and if interested in a hid kit (like philips 4300K) are these kits better then the stock oem hid kits?
can someone help me out. i did alot of reading but still not sure what to do. thanks.
