Post short shift

Ok I have done searches on here about this topic..

I want this to be plain and simple answers not run ons about saving money..

I had orderd a short shift from the dealer when I purchased the car and here it is 2 months later and they said that then will not have any in for a long time so I got a refund..

I now have 260 dollars to buy a short shifter with. I hear that the only reason for the full linkage is if you have a pre-99 modle..

Wich short shifter out there is the best one as far as throw and feel.. or since mine is a 2001 will i get the same feel from just going with the kartboy setup with bushings..

Thanx to anyone who helps me out with this.

Go with the Kartboy and Bushings Setup the feel is and throw is outstanding. I drove a stock 2.5rs the other day and could not beleive how much throw was in the stock shifter setup. Beside after getting the Kartboy setup you will about $140 bucks left to put towards something else...

The Kartboy is about an inch shorter than the standard shifter.
