Default Need help with 92' ej22t swap into 94 impreza ej18

Last night i bought a 1992 Legacy AWD with an ej22 turbo engine. All origional. The car is autopmatic but still runs very strong. I also have a 94 impreza with a real tickey ej18 awd 5spd. The trans is tight. I know the ej22t is swap capable in the impreza but id like to know where i can get a wire diagram and will the ej22t engine/ecu work in my impreza even with the ej22t being automatic. right off the bat i know i have to get a stronger clutch and already have an apex'i safcII. Im not very educated in the electrical part of this swap but i have done a few engine swaps in the past. I had planned to buy a wrecked 2001+ wrx this winter at a dealer olny crash auction i attend once a month. However this legacy was alot cheaper and will do what i need it to do i for now. I would still like to build a 2door ej20 95-01 impreza. So any info i can get on this exact ej18 - ej22t swap will help alot. i also have a 95 legacy RHD auto (was a mail delivery car) It has a n/a ej22 engine. I dont know if that will help any but i have it here also.

well its definitely been done a number of times.

I am not sure about the wiring, but it will be very similar to a WRX engine swap as far as mech parts go.

You are going to want to talk directly to people that have done this. The only car I know of is scubydrew. You could also PM RSmatt. I believe they did drew's car with the 1.8 intake manifold/ sensors/ etc. but retained the turbo plumbing /block / turbo / heads from the 22t.

he ran it off some AFR and a ITV for a while with the 1.8ECU and eventually swapped over to link+.. actually I am not sure he ever got the link working.
