Thumbs up Columbus, OH sighting

I saw someone in a blue 98 today, but I get the feeeling you're not on here. I think I've seen you at the Chiller too, unless that's someone else... I was the one with the poser plate

It's not often I have another RS behind me, let alone a blue one.

I'm in Gahanna, just south of Morse Rd. I think I might have seen you in rush hour a week or two ago though, if you were on 270 Eastbound... I think it was East of 71, but maybe between Sawmill and 71...

Anyway, is yours a Sedan or wagon? I saw a blue wagon at Auto-X last weekend.

Thumbs up

it might have been me jasony. I remember seeing a blue RS and a white RS on the same day about a week ago. can't remember where though. maybe in the sawmill/bethel area. I also saw a black 02 (WRX?) about 2 days later.
If I keep seeing all these damn subies, I'm gonna have to get something else to drive!!

Just a little heads up for you guys, since this thread seems to get the attention of you other columbus guys, they are trying to get a meet together that will be held at summit racing up in akron, probably in august sometime. Whenever they finally get a solid date set, i will be trying to get any of us guys from down here together so we can drive up there together, which is what i usually do whenever there is a meet up that way. So i'll try to keep you guys informed if you aren't aware of it. There is a thread going abotu the meet, but nothing solid has been set. So let me know if you would be interested in going and i'll keep you guys informed as i get more info. Oh and by the way, if you see me around town, wave or honk or something, i'll wave back. I drive a red 96 impreza with a big wing on it and a subaru windshield banner and a black front end cover and i'm usually driving aorund the west side so keep an eye out. Later all

nah, I don't think that was me
I work at Honda and take Avery home at about 5pm every day. I have a buddy that lives up on Sawmill, but I try to stay off 270 in any direction between 4 and 6pm. I'm moving up to the far north or Dublin on Post road in a couple weeks though. Anyway, I was down on west broad st. the other night and that seems like where all the imports go?

I saw a yellow wrx north bound on 33 with the BBS rims about a week ago. looked like some young kid driving it. Seems like there are tons of punk kids driving around Dublin and Hilliard in their parents BMW's. I tried to get this 17 (looked like it) kid in a black 323i with 4 girls in it last night to play, but I think he knew better

Anyway, if you guys are getting together in the Columbus area, shoot me an email or ICQ or AIM.

later

Subies, subies everywhere.....and I'm lovin' it! Hey guys, if you ever see a white Outback Sport cruising around give me a honk. I'll be moving to Worthington in two weeks so you'll see me all over the north side.

Mine is the white OBS with the black rear spoiler and black front bra, and Enkei wheels.

Rob, let me know when the Akron meet is happening. Those LERSOC guys are very cool. Although I haven't seen anything from Doug in a while. Last I heard he was getting bored with his car??

See ya!

Yeah...It is a Native American name.

We in Columbus tend to call it the "Old and Tangy River" because of the pollution. Olentangy Rd. runs along Olentangy River.

Unhappy miss columbus!

This forum reminds me of Dublin and Columbus. I lived there for 6 months on an internship, at Kerric Place on Tuttle, and worked at The Scotts Co. I think I use to see that Yellow WRX every morning on the way to Marysville, it was heading twards Dublin with a young kid driving. I also remeber a blue 2-door rs w/suby decals all over it running around Avery Rd.. Well Thanks for all the memories.

Yeah Central Ohio is a good place to remember - it implies you've managed to leave.

K-Mart? Great deals! Perfect place for the thrifty bargain hunter!

In other words, I'm wondering why go to K-Mart too?

Looks like another sighting in Columbus....really guys, we should do something 'bout this.

So far, I've seen nukeyfish's coupe around, and this black RS coupe around the Bethel/Olentangy area with the very big "SUBARU" winshield banner, but thats it. I'm gonna be leaving columbus in August for L.A. (that's where I'm right now....only one WRX sighting in a week!).

You may see my silver wagon at Passen one of these days....my budddy has the car (taken care of it until I'm back.....lucky dog)
to see if they can get some deals re: getting some Prodrive wheels in.

Yes everyweekend at kmart people take there cars up there and show them off. Lately its been kinda lame though people just doing burnout after burnout and cops are starting to get mad. When people want to race they go over to these businesses and do it there.

Palmore I'll look for ya sat. I should be there. My names Jeff
