Default Which lugs should I get?

I recently purchased a set of volk ce28n's. They should arrive in 1 - 3 months. I'm not sure which set of lugnuts I should get. I'm a little paranoid so I want to get 2 or more sets of locking nuts. Are the rays any good? Do all rays nuts have the same locking key?

What are some good locking nuts and sites?

Thanks nasioc.

why do you want more than one set? are you concerned about weight? I'd just get the $30 open ended spline-drive style ones... good enough for me.

if theives really wanted to steal your wheels, there's a special tool w/ a reverse thread that's made to grip onto a messed up lugnut and twist it off. work really well on so-called locknuts... my mechanic has a set. so I wouldn't worry too much, just make sure your insurance covers them.

The rays lug nuts are nice. I've used them all summer, which included about 40 wheel changes, swapping the race tires on. The lug nuts are a little scratched, but not all that noticeable.

If someone really wanted to get your wheels off, a locking lug nut probably won't stop them. My mechanic said, whenever someone loses the key, they just hammer a socket onto the end.

My vote goes to McGards. May not be the lightest on the market, but they're one of the best as far as quality. Dave at Oakos Automotive sells them and so does subydude

Dont worry at all about the weight....it's a useless battle

As for lugs, the McGard's are good, as are the Rays/Volks. As mentioned though, if someone wants them, no matter what lugs are on there, they will get em
