Just fitted my EGT probe a week or so ago, and was a little alarmed to peak at 1650F under load, and full boost, in 4th.

Great if others could post the same information. I'll kick things off.

1. Gauge brand/type.
2. Probe brand/type.
3. Probe location
4. Car model year.
5. Base map octane / version
6. Realtime map (if any) octane / version
7. Gas brand / octane / your location
8. Any relevant engine mods (e.g. uppipe).
9. Typical highway cruising temp.
10. Peak temp seen + conditions.

3. Casting bung in cyl. 2/4 manifold (driver side).

10. 1650F, under WOT uphill in 4th ~4k rpm, 1 passenger.
